Wisdom teeth removal

Geoffrey got his wisdom teeth out Thursday. I picked him up in Cheney where he is going to University and we headed over. Before I got him I stopped by to see the sisters in that town and take them some mail and a package that had come to the office for them. They had called me the day before asking for suggestions on how to do the work. The sisters have less opportunity to do exchanges so they feel lost sometimes for new ideas. And these two are both a bit more on the timid side. We had a good chat and hopefully they have some ideas as to where to begin.

So on to the oral surgeon. Geoffrey is just as cute as they come. He charms all the nurses in a sweet way--very genuine. After the surgery he was still joking with them. They just laughed and said that there is no way he will remember all that went on--but he did. When he was a bit loopy he told me he was sure he would remember everything. So I got him to tell me the password for his email--I said I wanted something very secret so I could prove to him he was saying things he wouldn't remember. But he remembered. I babied him with smoothies and mashed potatoes. Friends stopped by with jello and tapioca. He watched movies and relaxed. But today is Saturday--back to work.. SAT test this morning, clean the car and room, trash out, etc etc. It was a nice break. I even watched part of one of the movies with him. Of course I did cook 10 pounds of pulled pork and knitted part of a sweater while I was at it-so that isn't too bad!
