A Wonderful Family

One of the choicest experiences on the mission is meeting some of the new members.  We dont get to meet that many of them because there are quite a lot who join--usually somewhere around 60-90 a month.  But there are some that we get close to and this is one of the families.  They were baptized last Saturday.  We had them over for a family home evening a couple of weeks before and had spent a little time with them a month ago.  They are an amazing family--Perhaps I am reminded a bit of when our family was at that stage of life.  They are a very loving family and really support each other in a special way.  I feel very blessed to know them.   Mark baptized Mariella (the mom) and Brienda (the oldest daughter).

  1. I bet this was an exciting day for you. They look wonderful. Mark in white brings back many memories of temple sessions. Please realize, Jacqui, that you and Mark have set the bar high for Russ and myself. We look at your children (and you know how I love them...) and marvel at the job you've done. Enjoy this treasured experience of mothering beyond your immediate family. I know you are just awesome!
